For our honeymoon we went to Wales for a week camping and backpacking. We had no transport so travelled by coach. It was an interesting journey as Andrew spoke to anyone who was happy to talk to him. We got to Llandrindod Wells and started walking towards the campsite, we had not got far before someone stopped and offered us a lift, the first 2 or 3 times it happened we politely refused it was surprising as we were not hitching but we finally said yes and the people took us right to the campsite which was also a pub and motel. We had a great week Andrew went walking and got lost but managed to get back. We found a fantastic way to explore the local area which was the post bus, we went with the post man on his rounds, we were made welcome at every stop often given refreshments, it was a wonderful way to see the countryside all for the price of some stamps. On one of these trips we stopped at a garage in a lonely spot where he had a couple of 50cc mopeds which we fell in love with. So we worked out with the dealer away to purchase a bike each and return later in the year to pick them up. But that's another story, all to soon our honeymoon finished and we returned to tell everyone we would be going back in a few months to pick up what became affectionately known  our hair dryers on wheels
